I am so grateful for everything that’s happened this past year, and am so happy that I decided to start this little project. The Flawless Truth started as a personal project for me and was a way to consolidate my love for cosmetic chemistry into one tiny corner on the internet. So far, I’ve only focused on posting on Instagram, writing a few blogs, and adding new products to the website. I know I haven’t been able to keep up with these things recently because I’ve so been busy with school, but I promise that I will still continue to update as the new year arrives. 

I recently watched a mini documentary on Youtube about the rise and fall of Pat McGrath Labs. It’s got me thinking about ways to analyze cosmetics with different lenses. Instead of just focusing on the sciency side of things, I want to bring in elements of economics and history as well. I also want to post more videos, potentially on Youtube in long-form like the documentary. Let me know if you want to see that content here.
